The french polished finishes are in remarkably nice shape. 11 5/8' wide across the lower bout with a 24' scale length. Solid brass Waverly tuners with bone buttons such as those found on Washburns grace the headstock. The serial number 25139 stamped on the neck block indicates it was built around 1887. It predates later versions of the Lakeside model with features that were only found on the earliest L & H guitars. It's a late 1880s Lakeside branded Lyon & Healy parlor guitar.
